This is a collection of views of Hebden comparing the township with how it was with how it is
today, and is the brainchild of Chris Foster. Each of the pairs of the photographs were taken from
the same place, and looking in the same direction, but there are often discernible differences owing
to lens distortion, particularly in the older camera. For reasons of space, we have not provided
full details of the old images, but they may be found on the
Old Images page.
