In Memory
of
MARGARET
THE BELOVED WIFE OF JOHN HODGSON,
OF HEBDEN, WHO DIED JULY 12th, 1867,
IN THE 43rd YEAR OF HER AGE.

WHILE THOUGHT IN RETROSPECTION FLIES,
AND LINGERS ROUND THIS LONELY SPOT,
WHERE ONCE THOU DWELT MY HEART REPLIES
NO, THOU CANST NEVER BE FORGOT.

ALSO OF ANNIE, ALICE AND ROBERT
THREE OF THEIR CHILDREN WHO DIED IN
THEIR INFANCY.
ALSO OF HANNAH, SECOND WIFE OF
THE ABOVE WHO DIED AT ROYDS HALL,
STANBURY, AUGUST 23rd 1887,
IN HER 45th YEAR.
